Founded in 2015 by retired US Army Officer, Jason Ambrosino the American Veteran Enterprise Team was created to capitalize on modern procurement technology while at the same time bringing together elements of an ever-expanding universe of products and services and offering them to customers through a unique system using a proprietary platform. But Jason didn't stop there.
Jason's concept grew from a "Band of Brothers" attitude he took from his years of military service. Under the banner of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) he determined that not only would he use his own experiences in the military and his education at the prestigious William & Mary Mason School of Business , but he would include other Veterans wherever possible and practicable. Jason recognized that the transition from military to civilian life is best made through business since both are mission-oriented and no people on earth know the importance of mission success better than personnel in and from the United States military.
As we grow, so will countless veteran owned businesses who participate using our procurement platform to sell their goods and services. And it doesn't end there. AS AVET develops, it will extend a helping hand to Minority Owned Businesses (MBE) and Women Owned Businesses (MWBE) by offering the opportunity to be parts of the growing platform.
There is an intrinsic symbiosis in the concept. Since organizations seeking to do business with government at virtually every level in New York State need to reach certain goals for all specified groups, AVET will offer expanding lines of goods and services through associated SDVOBs, MBEs and MWBEs. An equally important service will provide the know-how and guidance for companies seeking to do business with New York government entities, but need help fulfilling the established goals. This one-stop shopping method for B2G, B2B and B2C cuts costs through maximum efficiency.
